Description:

“Please Don’t Go” is the third and final single from the new upcoming EP “Circumstances” that is planned to release the 4th of March. Reflecting on a past relationship, a first-person account tells the story of denial, desperation, and discovery when the dynamic between two people changes. Depicting the imbalance of power in the relationship, the somber melody reveals a tale of intermittent love and the struggle to break the continuous cycle. The concept behind the production was to evoke the same feeling as the day when it was written. Just a girl and her piano in an empty room with nothing but her drifting memories and the rain pouring down outside her window as she creates her own closure.

*fun fact* the final version of the song contains the original scratch vocals as the raw emotion from the demo couldn’t be replicated.

Visuals:

Set to release on February 18th, the visual for “Please Don’t Go” captures a childlike innocence. Painted with whimsical colors and simplified drawings, the animation style heavily juxtaposes the serious topics explored throughout the piece.
